Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit – June 2013

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit Pinterest Board

Saying “rabbit, rabbit, rabbit” is just a habit.  It is good luck to say “rabbit, rabbit, rabbit” first thing each month.   Or a superstition!

The images are boards on Pinterest.  Mine… mine all mine.  The Pinterest Boards are mine.

Watermelon

I love watermelon, more than most fruit.

What luck I found a great rabbit image on Pinterest, just today.  The image is a watermelon carved as a bunny for an Easter fruit salad.  An online friend shared the image from some horrible site splattered with ads.  The horrible site with hundreds of images from other sites is getting traffic from Pinterest, Facebook, Google+ and anywhere people share the image posted on their site. The horrible site is less horrible than some sites, the ones without a link to the image on the original site.   I was able to click through from the site using the photo to the site the photo belongs to… (I hope), the National Watermelon Promotion Board.    Better to link to the original photo, for me.

Perhaps the images on the National Watermelon Board site are not the original.   The National Watermelon Promotion Board allows people to submit their watermelon carvings to their site.    The point is to promote watermelon… Did I mention I love watermelon?

Watermelon Rabbits, golf balls, etc.

The watermelon image is pinned from the original site (kind of)  now from the site that deserves the traffic.  The description says “Easter Rabbit carving from the National Watermelon Promotion Board! p/i #rabbit

I also found a golf  watermelon carving on the National Watermelon Promotional Board site, today.  Great for a Memorial Tournament party or for a summer party…. with golf enthusiasts.    I carved a watermelon last summer.  A very, very simple carving for a baby shower.  I first saw a photo of the baby shower watermelon on Pinterest.  There were no directions, just an image.  I am NOT a big DIY, crafty person like many people on Pinterest.

Are you on Pinterest?
