While the video focuses on the historic Old Worthington area, the original Village of Worthington is surrounded by desirable City of Worthington neighborhoods. Kilbourne Village, Colonial Hills, Worthington Estates, Worthingway, Wilson Hills, Potters Creek and Olentangy Hills are some of the diverse City of Worthington neighborhoods.
The City of Worthington is surrounded by the larger community of the Worthington City School District which includes neighborhoods in the City of Columbus and unincorporated areas in Perry and Sharon Townships. The school district boundaries in Ohio pre-existed the development of much of Central Ohio including much of the Worthington City School District.
The Village of Riverlea is surrounded by the City of Worthington with western boundary of Riverlea the bank of the Olentangy River. Riverlea is in the Worthington City School District. The Village of Riverlea currently (2010) contracts with Worthington for fire and police service and has for years.
