I have NOT seen ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ yet this year.  I love it even if I have seen it a zillion times.  It was not our Christmas “classic” to watch each year growing up.  ‘Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol’ or ‘White Christmas’ were what I remember defining Christmas for me.  I could tear up watching the animated Tiny Tim.

I never saw ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ or ‘Miracle on 34th Street” until I was an adult.

Do you have a cow costume? I did when I was in college.  Chick- fil- A has a cow costume kit on their site.  What other cow appreciation options do you have in Columbus?  There’s a Chick-fil-A Facebook page for Cow Appreciation Day.

Drive to 161 or Sawmill Road to gaze at the OSU cows?  Do you prefer to gaze at beef cows or dairy cows?  Pick your pasture accordingly.   Another idea? Ice cream.  July is also Ice cream month and ice cream  is the thing that I most appreciate cows for.  Justify a trip to Jeni’s, Greater’s, Denise’s….  Or is beef what’s for dinner on Cow Appreciation Day?    Plan now.

The OSU vs. Michigan football game offers so many things to do in Columbus Ohio!  How can you even count them?  I am struggling with ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ not that there are not things to do in Central Ohio but just because I really don’t like doing events posts. And I don’t really like Facebook much.   ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio was doomed from the beginning.

A tail gate party at the office the last day of work before the football game.  This years calendar really did not lend itself to a party at the office.   Our office was not open Friday.  Wednesday people were a little busy getting ready for Thanksgiving.

Give blood for Ohio State in the “Blood  Battle” for the Red Cross.

Drive to 161 or Sawmill Road to gaze at the OSU cows?  I was right on 161 in Linworth yesterday.  I could have easily gone west for a little cow gazing.   Another idea? 6-19-2010 WordCamp Columbus is combined with PodCamp Ohio and is at OSU.

Have you heard?  or herd?… that there is a WordCamp scheduled?  Sunday I started thinking about it.  I Googled to see if there was a WordPress conference or unconference on the horizon.   Last year WordCamp Columbus was in May.

“If you haven’t herd the news, PodCamp Ohio is combining with WordCamp Columbus! This new social media and WordPress unconference will be held at Mendenhall Labatory at The Ohio State University on Saturday, June 19, 2010.”
