Gahanna: The Residences of Creekside Redeveloped

by Maureen McCabe on June 23, 2012

The Residences of Creekside, in Gahanna is out of foreclosure and being redeveloped.  The Columbus Dispatch said so.  Yesterday.

The Residences of Creekside is a luxury condominium development in the Columbus suburb.   The Residences of Creekside is part of a larger mixed use development on the bank of the Big Walnut Creek.

The Columbus Dispatch says of the June 2012 sale:

“The three-building property was purchased yesterday by Strathmore Development Co. for $10.5 million after several months of proceedings. The property includes upscale condominiums, as well as retail and office space and a parking garage.”

According to the Columbus Dispatch article the timing could not have been worse.  The beautiful residential property came to market as the real estate market crashed.  A post on about two years ago: Gahanna -The Residences of Creekside  an April 2010 post about the amenities of the luxury  project.  Even then a  trend toward larger units seemed the direction of The Residences of Creekside.   The Columbus Dispatch article this week  Gahanna Creekside Plaza Sold to Developer

 Foreclosure?  Receivership?
