All counties April homes for sale and Sold

Home sales were up 26% in the month of April 2010, from April 2009.  The graph shows homes for sale and homes sold for the past 15 months, through April 2010.  This is for all counties served by the Columbus Board of REALTORS® MLS.  This is just single family homes… does not include condominiums or mult family homes. The official results from the Colmbus Board of REALTORS will be released later in the month.

What Ohio counties are included?  The Columbus Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) serves all of Franklin, Delaware, Fayette, Madison, Morrow and Union Counties and parts of Champagne, Clark, Hocking, Licking, Fairfield, Knox, Logan, Marion, Pickaway and Ross Counties.

Big.  Way more than I cover.

Columbus homes pending sales April 2010

Home sales in Central Ohio as in the entire US were subject to a home buyers tax credit as long as the qualified buyer had the home in contract by April 30, 2010.  The pended sales were down 3.4% in comparison to April 2009.  I would bet some sales were not turned in on a timely basis and that will go up by the time the Columbus Board of REALTORS releases numbers later in the month.  I try not to pay attention to pended sales.  This month that is tough.

If you use the Columbus homes for sale link you will search the online inventory of Central Ohio homes on the Real Living HER site.  You will be offered the opportunity to receive listings directly from the Columbus Board of Realtors, in real time.

Published May 2010 based on data available from the Columbus Board of REALTORS® at the end of April  2010.   TrendGraphix reports presented are based on data supplied by the Columbus Board of Realtors.  According to Trendgraphix neither  CBR nor their MLS (multiple listing service ) guarantee or are in anyway responsible for its accuracy. “Information deemed reliable but not guaranteed.”   Me neither.  Originally published on  Discover Columbus OH, Columbus real estate.    The official report from the Columbus Board of REALTORS is all residential properties (not just single family) so that is part of the reason this is different than the 40% increase they reported.
