I stood and listened Friday night to Tracy Townsend announce the BIA Parade Awards. I should have written them down. The BIA Parade Award app lulled me into a sense of false security. I listened to who won the bronze, the silver and the gold for:
Best Special Feature
Dining Room
Exterior Architecture
First Interior Impression
Floor Plan Design
Great Room / Family Room
Interior Design & Decor
Kitchen
Landscape Front Entry Garden
Landscaping Rear Garden
Library Study
Lower Level
Outdoor Living Area
Owners Suite
I thought the information would appear on the app on Saturday.
I got to go to the Preview Party Friday night thanks to New England Homes! New England Homes is not in this years Parade of Homes. They are there in the big old tent but New England Homes does not have a home in this years BIA Parade of Homes. New England Homes gave me a ticket to the First Federal Mortgage Preview Party last Friday night.
I get to go back to BIA Parade of Homes at the Meadows at Lewis Center on Monday. At the Parade you can tell from the signs who won the awards. Or maybe the BIA will input the information on the BIA app on Monday.
The house pictured is the Miller Troyer house (Miller Troyer Custom Homes is it’s full name according to the app on my phone), one of twelve homes in the 2012 BIA Parade of Homes. It won a number of awards.
