Columbus Library gets 5 Stars

by Maureen McCabe on February 18, 2009

Congratulations to the Columbus Metropolitan Library for Five Stars!

The Columbus Library got five stars from LibraryJournal.com  The Columbus Library tweets as @ColumbusLibrary.

State by State- Starred Libraries by State 3,  4 or 5 star libraries are listed by state. Ohio has 31, starred libraires, second only to New York.  The Grandview Heights. Upper Arlington and Worthington Libraries were each given  “5 Stars” also…

I looker for…. I started to say “the library I grew up in” and then thought that’s odd but I did go to the same library from the time I was a pre-schooler until I went off to college… I  worked at the library in my hometown for about 14 months before I went off to college, is not on the list but the library I worked at one summer in college in Madison Wisconsin is on the list.

Our library is pretty awesome. I’m there daily. I’m a chronic 1/3 book reader. It’s saved me LOTS of money.
