The grass is greener, the sky is bluer…
The grass is greener in Columbus was a campaign of the Columbus Board of REALTORS a few years ago, Columbus Housing Facts. I guess it was “The Grass is Greener Here.” I think that campaign was still in effect (banners still up, showed up in marketing pieces) last year. I think we are beyond that… we are “Ready for a Rebound” now. Or some catchy phrase about rebound. I am a member of the Columbus Board of REALTORS. To have access to the mls (multiple listing service) membership in the local state and national real estate associations (board) are required. That’s how the mls works, here. The point of the “The Grass is Greener in Columbus” campaign was to say our market was better than other markets? Not to listen to the negative news about the national real estate market. The glass is half full…
I loved the green grass graphics of the Columbus Board of REALTORS campaign. Who doesn’t love the look of spring grass and leaves on trees?

Anyway the grass is greener. For real in May 2012. How could grass not be green with all the rain and the nice warm weather we are having? The picture shows the grass is green, the sky is blue. The building is the New England Homes Sales Center. New England Homes Ohio is a custom builder who builds throughout central Ohio. The New England Homes Sales Center (pictured) is at 5191 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. Columbus Pike is route 23 in southern Delaware County, the road from Columbus to the city of Delaware.
Ahhhh the sound of spring…someone is mowing their grass now. A common sound because the grass is greener and it is growing at an incredible rate. Good time to do it before it rains today… It looked like someone had just cut the grass at New England Homes on Sunday when I took this photo. The grass is greener in Lewis Center, Powell, Worthington, Dublin….
