The Good (Best) the Bad (Worst) and the Ugly…
Forbes – 10 Worst Winter Weather Cities
Slide show… shows the Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus… there is a sameness in all the photos. A whiteness. There is some interesting info about the amount of snowfall and average snow though.
- Cleveland
- Boston
- New York City
- Milwaukee
- Chicago
- Minneapolis
- Indianapolis
- Columbus
- Detroit
- Baltimore
Help me with why Columbus is 8th and Detroit is 9th?
8. City: Columbus
Average Annual Temperature: 52.9°F
Average Precipitation: 38.5 inches
Average Snowfall: 28.2 inches
And …
9. City: Detroit
Average Annual Temperature: 49.7°F
Average Precipitation: 32.9 inches
Average Snowfall: 41.4 inches
We are warmer and get less snow? What am I missing?
Compare Columbus to Cleveland’ “Average Snowfall: 58.9 inches
“Thanks to Channel 4 which had this on their website Tuesday and tweeted it: Columbus
No link to Forbes there though…
