It was a NEW Columbus grocery store when Don O’Brien  photographed it in 1950:

The Clintonville Kroger Store:

The Clintonville Kroger Store is an auto parts store now, I believe.  The old Kroger Store which is now an auto parts store  is just south of the fire station.  Just north of   Dunedin.  Right where the Clintonville Farmers’ Market is?  Today is the first day of the Clintonville Farmers’ Market in 2012.  It’s 10th or 11th year?

The “old” Worthington Kroger Store  was photographed by Don O’Brien when he was a kid.  The photo of the “old”  Worthington Kroger , I asked Mr. O’Brien ‘s permission to use is on Worthington Old and News, my Worthington real estate site.  The Kroger Store was on High Street in what is now referred to as “Old Worthington.”

The new “north-end” of Columbus is in Delaware County, Polaris.  A  new grocery store in Columbus, Ohio 43240  Earth Fare, the healthy supermarket opens in Columbus.

The photograph of the New Kroger Store in Clintonville c. 1950 is the property of Don O’Brien, Dok1 on Flickr.  He licensed this particular photo with a Creative Commons license which I believe allows me to use it here.  Thanks Dok1!  Photo -  Clintonville Kroger
