“Look Up, Ohio!, new walking tours now ready for exploring”

I got an email from a publisher about a free book (Kindle edition) offer today,  Feb. 20, 2013 and going through the 24th.

“The ‘Look Up, Ohio!’, new walking tours are ready”  the book provides self-guided walking tours.  There is a whole series of ‘Look Up”  walking tour books around the country.

Look Up, Ohio! Walking Tours of 8 Towns In The Buckeye State

“The ‘Look Up, Ohio!’, book has  a walking tour of Columbus, but also Akron, Canton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo and Youngstown.

Atlas Building

The ‘Click to Look Inside’  on Amazon shows one entire tour… of one Ohio city, Akron and a bit of another city, Canton.  The books are kind of lists of  places at places that are cities in Ohio… and photos. The tour of Akron shows a couple of buildings I remember from living in Akron, including a building I worked in.

The email I received about the Free Kindle edition of the book of Ohio walking tours says:

“Each of the 8 walking tours in LOOK UP, OHIO! describes a mix of historical, architectural, cultural and ecclesiastical landmarks.”

Columbus ART

The pictures are mine from a City-Hop, a Columbus Landmarks walking tour a couple of years ago. The nice thing about the Columbus Landmarks tours are the knowledgeable “guides” and getting to go inside buildings. I loved seeing the inside of the Atlas Building (second photo) but I did not include photos here. Some buildings you would be able to enter on a self-guided walking tour but NOT all. I am off to see my copy in the cloud wondering if the walking tour is just downtown Columbus or nearby neighborhoods too.  German Village? The Short North? I wouldn’t spoil for you what Columbus landmarks (or other cities)  are in the ‘Look Up, Ohio’ book, anyway.  Use the link, get the Columbus walking tour book for free.  I did.
