The Columbus Board of REALTORS (CBR) spoke today.
They, the Columbus Board of REALTORS are “The Voice for Real Estate” around these parts, they have trademarked the phrase. CBR sent members an update today… I am a member of the Columbus Board of REALTORS so I got it. They sent an update about last months local real estate market. I assume they let members know in our update today at the same time they let the media know about the September 2012 real estate market. You will see and hear the newspapers, TV stations, etc. tell us how home sales were in the Columbus Board of REALTORS mls (multiple listing service) in the month of September. The “Central Ohio Housing Report – Sept. 2012″ is mostly about home prices. Or focused on home prices.
“Home prices headed up in central Ohio”
Is the sub headline online. You will hear and read about sales throughout Ohio today (the Ohio Association of REALTORS releases that) … and the NAR (National Association of REALTORS) should release national information about the September housing market.
The reports I did for my real estate blogs focused on sales. I worried about home prices in August. I actually look at all of it for most markets I worry about. Or work. I will focus on the inventory of homes for sale when October is over…in November Columbus real estate content on my sites will be “homes for sale” based on now.
- Columbus real estate
- Delaware County, Ohio real estate
- Worthington real estate
See ‘em there in the sidebar, here? The Delaware County site is being stubborn.
The Columbus Board of REALTORS said something about home sales too.
“Homes sales in September (1,859) were up 2.5 percent compared to last year and are up 11.4 percent for the year.”
My content never, ever matches what the CBR says because they look at all residential sales. For the most part, I look at single family resale.
Columbus real estate is…

“The Columbus Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) serves all of Franklin, Delaware, Fayette, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union Counties and parts of Athens, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Fairfield, Hocking, Knox, Logan, Marion, Muskingum, Perry and Ross Counties.”
Me? I only worry about Delaware County, parts of Franklin County and now a little, itty bitty part of Union County.
