Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit – October 2008

by Maureen McCabe on October 1, 2008

Happy October

It is good luck to say “Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit”  first thing each month.  Or there is a superstition of saying “Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit” first thing in the new month for good luck.  My dearly departed (still there but not growing) first blog used to say “Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit” first thing each month.

What a unique superstition! I’ve never heard of that before, but my daughter would love it. She has a strong, long standing love affair with rabbits. (And cobras, crocodiles, dragons, and bats, but we won’t go there.)

A real estate agent I know grew up with it. Her dad would say it. She is in her 60′s and grew up in CT. I have read it is from the UK.

It was not good luck for Discover Columbus….
