Polaris Mitchell's Martini's to be Marcella's

by Maureen McCabe on October 17, 2007

Columbus Business First -  Polaris area Restaurant news w/  lots of M’s Martini’s, Mitchell’s, Marcella’s…

Columbus Business First- Martini’s becoming Marcella’s

Confession: I live not far from Polaris.  I have never been to the Martini’s at 1319 Polaris Parkway  I have been to the Martini’s in the Short North a number of times.

I am not a martini drinker.  I am not much of a wine drinker either…  nor do I eat pasta but I love Italian food.

I have never been to the Marcella’s in the Short North either… but I think it has been open a relatively short time.   The Columbus Business First article says since May.

Here’s something interesting about the Crosswoods area!

“The Martini to Marcella’s conversion is not the only action at Polaris for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. The company is relocating its Mitchell’s Steakhouse at Crosswoods to Polaris Parkway as well. Delp said that restaurant will open in November, while the space it is leaving at 7619 Huntington Park Drive will be converted into a catering facility to be called the Ballroom and is scheduled to open in April 2008. “

That’s good news.  I knew about the Mitchell’s Steakhouse ( I have been there!)  moving to Polaris from Crosswoods.  Just the other night a  friend and I were talking about the impending Mitchell’s Steakhouse move to Polaris leaving another empty restaurant at Crosswoods.
