I went, I ate, I enjoyed... hey I still have my leftovers in the refrigerator. I could enjoy some more. I had a combination plate that was a beef enchilada and a chile relleno. I have at least half of the huge chile relleno left.

They have black beans on the menu (as well as refritos.) I thought they tasted like black beans... my dining companion who shall remain nameless ("you don't blog about me, do you?") thought they tasted bland... (like black beans???) We are bean connoisseurs.

I have a phone with a camera. Did I even think of snapping photos? No.

Cuco's Taquieria is at 2162 W. Henderson. A reader on one of my blogs... here? Or Discover Columbus recommended Cuco's.

The good news Cuco's website has photos!

The bad news the Cuco's Taquieria's website has music. Is that the Mexican hat dance? It opened very slowly for me, I believe because of the music. Then the music blared and scared me.

More good news... there is a coupon on the Cuco's Taqueria website. "Buy one entree get the second at 50% off... restrictions apply, days, equal or lesser value..., limited time offer, the usual."

Their website... you've been warned about the music. Cuco's Taqueria

The Cuco's website says:

"Cuco's Taqueria offers authentic Mexican cuisine in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Established in 2002 and family-owned, Cuco's has become a favorite destination for Columbus area Mexican food lovers. Our executive chef is a native of Guadalajara, Mexico and his specialties include Guadalajara Lamb Stew, mojarra frita, chile rellenos and chicken enchiladas. Visit us and you, too, will discover 'the best kept secret in Columbus'!
