An affair to remember… Ladies and Gentlemen the place to be in Old Worthington on Thursday, February 14, 2013 is Worthington Jewelers. Have you been to any of Worthington Jewelers “Affairs”… er I mean events?
Nice…. very nice.
What Worthington Jewelers Affair promises on Valentines Day 2013:
- wine tasting
- hors d’oeuvres
- chocolate
Make that wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, chocolate and jewelery? The distinction of course is that the wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and chocolate are complimentary at the Worthington Jewelers ‘Valentines Day Affair.” The jewelery is on sale but it still costs money. The Worthington Jewelers “Valentine’s Day Affair” invite says “Plus, all our heart and diamond jewelry is on sale.”
Looking in the display cases at diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires etc. does NOT cost anything though.
I have been to a couple of events at Worthington Jewelers.
Worthington Jewelers is the store in Worthington on the east side of High Street just south of the Worthington Green. Worthington Jewelers remodeled and added on to become a much larger space in 2011. The address of Worthington Jewelers is 692 High St Worthington, Ohio 43085.

The Valentine’s Day Affair invite says “Please feel welcome to start or end your romantic evening at Worthington Jewelers. We’ll be rolling out the red carpet between 6 and 9 p.m.” Dinner at the Worthington Inn, or Rivage Atlantique and then chocolates, wine and a diamond or two at Worthington Jewelers? Thinking about Worthington even if you are doing a romantic dinner up the street at J. Liu before or after a Valentine’s Day Affair at Worthington Jeweler’s is a good plan. I saw something from P.K. O’Ryan’s about Valentines Day too. Kids eat free at P.K. O’Ryans in Worthington on Valentine’s Day, I believe. That is not as romantic but a family has to do what a family has to do to celebrate Valentines Day in central Ohio.
