The flag  display has grown each year. This is the fourth year of the display at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and County Line Road.

Flags on the Field of Heroes will start coming down in the afternoon on Monday.  The closing ceremony is 12:30 Monday.

That’s a nice tribute for those who gave all.

The local tribute is for more than “for those who gave all.” It is for vets who returned from war, those who served in times of peace as well police, firemen, nurses or anyone who is a hero in people’s lives! Yes it is done on Memorial Day, a day to pay tribute to “those who gave all” but the flags often are a tribute to a living person, or someone who served and returned home.
