’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ is a page on Facebook…  Add your neighborhood’s, communities’, church, temple, synagogue’s, businesses’, favorite restaurant’s things to do (fun things please…) to ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ on the Facebook page and they could end up here on the ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ category on as well.

Fun things to do in Columbus Ohio in May

Taste of Powell is tonight, May 3, at the zoo.

Friday is First Friday in Worthington, May the Fourth be with you.  Worthington being a very traditional community is probably not going with a Star Wars theme just because it’s May the 4th though…  Restaurants and shops are open. late for First Friday.

Saturday is the Gallery Hop in the Short North.

The Worthington Memorial Day Parade is at the end of May, on Monday,  May 28, 2012 if I am not mistaken. Seems a long time away.

As always has places to go and things to do throughout central Ohio if you need ideas, times, addresses, etc.

Food things to do in Columbus Ohio in May

On May 1, 2012  ‏ @CityBarbeque tweeted: It’s National BBQ Month AND Rib Bone Tuesday!? #greatday

@Foodimentary tweeted don’t forget! May is Hamburger Month.

Going to the Foodimentary site it seems May is also:

  • National Barbecue Month
  • National Chocolate Custard Month
  • National Egg Month
  • National Salad Month
  • National Salsa Month
  • National Strawberry Month

Those are national but if you have a favorite central Ohio restaurant doing something special in May for barbecue (or barbeque), chocolate custard, egg, hamburger, salad, salsa or strawberry month please add it on ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ on Facebook.

May is Celiac Awareness Month… May 12 the Celiac Awareness Tour is coming to Columbus.  That is about food kinda.  For a small group of people.

Saturday is Cinco De Mayo so adding a shout out to your favorite restaurant or a photo of your food (in a central Ohio eating establishment) is perfectly acceptable on the ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ page on Facebook.   Before, after or during Cinco de Mayo it is always appropriate and appreciated to talk about good Mexican food (or pizza, Indian food, Asian cuisines, diner food, etc.  in Columbus) on the Facebook page about things to do in Columbus Ohio.

What’s your favorite Columbus Mexican restaurant?

The Clintonville Farmers’ Market already started in April.  The first  Worthington Farmer’s Market is May 12, 2012.

Fitness things to do in Columbus Ohio in May

May is National Bike Month too which is needed after all the May food.   I hope there are bike events in central Ohio in May.   If you are involved in a May 2012 bike event add it to ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ the page on Facebook.

’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ is a page on Facebook… there is a page called the same thing without the “Ohio” though too. My page was first. Their page is bigger, has more fans.  I’m not bitter.  Much.
