TEDx Columbus goes global

by Maureen McCabe on July 13, 2011

I went to CCAD today to watch TEDGlobal live from Edinburgh, Scotland. TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program. Today’s viewing event was at CCAD in the Canzani Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.

The TEDx Columbus site says:

“TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference; events can be simple viewing events, and may also host live speakers.”

I guess I am a TED enthusiast.  I went to TEDx Columbus 2009 and 2010.

The talks about hacking and security stood out for me, in today’s TEDGlobal.  And the talk from the man that flies.  And talks about feeding children… the talks will be available in a few weeks.

TEDx Columbus is November 11, 2011.  The 2011 TEDx Columbus is themed  “A Moment in Time.”  Registration for TEDx Columbus 2011 will open in September.
