How Cool for Columbus Farmer’s Markets?

Columbus Spring Weather

Spring is here!  The forecast is  75° on Saturday for Columbus Farmers Markets?  The first day of the “Summer”  Worthington Farmers Market will be nice and warm this year!  The Worthington Farmers Market said on Facebook:

“75 degrees for the first outdoor market of the 2013 season? We’ll take it!”

I could not help but notice a Florida real estate agent’s site the other day. The headline? ‘HOW COOL! GREEN MARKET MOVING INDOORS.’   The real estate blog post about the outdoor market in city of Palm Beach Gardens moving from outdoors “to the cool air-conditioned indoors” just as the central Ohio Farmer’s Markets are moving outside for the summer season.  The Florida real estate site says “Residents of Palm Beach Gardens enjoy an average “sunshiny” temperature of 74 degrees Fahrenheit.”  that does not seem that warm to me with our 80 degree weather this past week.
The first “Summer” Worthington Farmers Market will kick off Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 8:00 AM.  The market on High Street in Worthington runs until noon.  Del Sroufe, the author of  “Forks Over Knives – The Cookbook”  will be in Worthington to sign books from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday too. The cookbook’s says “All recipes are vegan, oil-free and virtually all are low-fat.”

The Clintonville Farmers Market went outdoor last weekend.  The Facebook page says the hours of the Clintonville market are “Saturdays 9-noon, April 27-Nov 23 and Wednesdays 4-7, June 5-Aug14.”  The Clintonville Farmers Market is at the intersection of High Street and Dunedin Road.
