Monster on High St. ColumbusHappy Halloween 2012 Columbus!

Trick-or-Treat in Columbus is Tonight.  Of course it is, it’s Halloween.

Some years Trick-or-Treat is NOT on Halloween in central Ohio.  Or most central Ohio communities follow MORPC (the Mid-Ohio Planning Commission)’s guidelines and have Trick-or-Treat or Beggars Night on a night that is NOT October 31. Halloween.

The MORPC site yesterday said:

“The National Weather Service forecast Wednesday’s weather to be cold, high 30s to low 40s, winds from 10 – 25 mph, but no dangerous weather conditions. Unless these conditions worsen, MORPC recommends Trick or Treat proceed as originally scheduled in each Community. If the conditions change, then the Communities should discuss with their Emergency Management Departments and take whatever precautions are necessary to keep residents and property safe and postpone Trick or Treat until the following day, Thursday, November 1.”

It’s up to Columbus, Dublin, Gahanna, Grandview Heights, Hilliard, Lewis Center (Orange Township), New Albany, Powell, Upper Arlington, Westerville, Worthington etc. etc. etc.  to decide if your little monsters, ghouls, gnomes, super heroes, etc.  trick-or-treat tonight if weather conditions change.   Gahanna, Upper Arlington and Worthington posted on their Facebook pages that tonight is Trick-or-Treat.

Trick-or-Treat 2012 – Happy Halloween

Warm costumes!   Water-proof costumes?  Most central Ohio communities are trick-or-treating 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. so it should just not rain then.   A simple solution!

Rain, rain go away  Frankenstorm 2012  The images are from Highball Halloween 2012.   I went to Highball Halloween Saturday.  My first time at Highball Halloween.  There was an atmospheric mist most of the night.

The Columbus  Halloween 2013 and Halloween 2014 Trick-or-Treat dates are set.
