Why is Trick or Treat in many, many Central Ohio places tomorrow Thursday?
“Because Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, Dublin is following the recommendation of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission to hold ‘Trick or Treat’ on Thursday if the actual holiday is on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. “
For years it was NOT on Halloween which did not bother me at all. I grew up with Beggars Night being the night before Halloween. Then since I’ve been blogging Columbus has had Trick or Treat on Halloween at least a couple of times… and that’s OK with me too.
So blame it on MORPC!
Wonder why a handful of communities are different.
