Columbus School for Ghouls

Indian Spings School ghosted upThe phrase  “Columbus School for Ghouls” was used by Jeffrey Sheban in a Columbus Dispatch article  ‘Haunted History’ about the Columbus Landmarks walking tours this fall.   #197 of 365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio is “Columbus School for Ghouls”

On the curriculum:

#198 – Gables, Gargoyles and Ghosts Bus Tour, the tour which runs three nights, October 22, 23 and 25, 2010 and the locations vary by night.   The Columbus Dispatch says

“architecturally significant homes, museums, funeral homes and hotels.”

#199 – Halloween Lantern  Walking Tour,  the Columbus Dispatch describes this tour:

“Hear ghost stories while strolling through one of Columbus’ most architecturally significant neighborhoods (E. Town and Franklin streets vicinity).”

#200 – I believe this one is already totally booked (of course!) the  Haunted Historic Taverns tour.   The Columbus Dispatch says:

“Visit architecturally interesting spaces where glasses of spirits are sold and fellow bar patrons might not really be there. ”

The ‘Haunted Historic Taverns’ tour is one night only and again while it is one  of “365 Things To Do In Columbus Ohio” you and I are not doing it unless we have already booked it!  One night only, October 28, 2010.

More tours..more haunted history on these three tours as well as dates, times and more is on the Columbus Landmarks site.
