by Maureen McCabe on October 18, 2007

Dead Acres is in Pataskala Ohio… but from outside Columbus, Pataskala looks just like Columbus if you squint your eyes… in the dark. Dead Acres is very, very dark.

The Real Estate Bloggers is counting down the top ten haunted houses in America this year and wrote about Dead Acres on Wednesday.

Dead Acres in Columbus Ohio Number 9 of Top 10 Haunted Houses in America

Dead Acres – Haunted Hoochie is not for kids. Not for old people… not for scaredy cats.. of the video site the Real Estate Bloggers site says:

To get the flavor of Dead Acres you have to visit the website. The in your face sensory attack is their trademark with noise, fear, and panic dominating the exhibit. As the warning says May Not Be Suitable for Immature Audiences or Mature Audiences.

I would get too scared for that Shonna, but it is great to hear people say they enjoyed it.

We went on Saturday night to the Haunted Hoochie. I was scared, didn’t really even look… but according to the people I was with, they hated it. Said it wasn’t even worth the $15 and 3 hour wait for a 15 minute house. The best part of the evening was watching the people outside on the stage put hooks in their body and hang from them.

Thanks for the comment Holly. Three hour wait for a 15 minute tour? Yuck.

‘Piercer Dave’ was nice enough to include a link to his site which was edited out since you need to be 18 or under adult supervision to view the site, so it is not getting a link on my site. Not that kids visit my site…with or without supervision.. it’s just not anything I want linked to me Thanks for stopping by.

I am sure Holly will find your site if she needs it.

No problem.

It’s 100% moderated so no one can get one through the spam filter. No one can add links I don’t want.

I went into this house. I jumped for a minute. And that jump was, to make sure I had on my good luck ring, and my holy cross. To keep this haunted house from causing bad luck. Cause going into an haunted house is not really what you call Entertainment. Them places causes bad luck, for real. And I ain’t trying to have for it to be me.
