Columbus Harvest Things To Do

High Street in WorthingtonIt’s  Harvest Festival weekend in Columbus.  There are many  “harvest” things to do this weekend throughout Columbus and central Ohio.  …and Fall Festivals.

Chris Bradley (weatherman on Channel 10 TV) said this weekend, mid October will be peak color.  Visit a Metro Park for a walk? Or a City of Columbus park?  Or stroll through a neighborhood like  Clintonville, German Village, Victorian Village if you like people and buildings with your trees.   Go for a walk on one of the scenic suburban  “down-towns” Dublin, Worthington, Powell,  Westerville.  Others

Columbus Things to do October 13 and 14  2012.  Some events are ongoing during the next week.  Or run weekends through Halloween.

North Market Harvest Festival  is this Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Columbus Commons Fall Festival is  Saturday October 13 from  1 to 6 p.m.  in downtown Columbus

Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday noon to 5 p.m. in Galena (Lewis Center Road just east of Alum Creek)

Herb Harvest Day Ohio Herb Education Center in Gahanna, is Saturday  9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Worthington in addition to the Olde Worthington Farmers Market  from  9:00 a.m to noon Saturday in  Downtown Worthington there is a  Fall Festival on the Village Green in downtown Worthington, Saturday.

  • Hayrides
  • Music
  • Food vendors

The Worthington Fall Festival Saturday is sponsored by the Olde Worthington Business Association. The Worthington Fall Festival is Saturday, October 13, 2012 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Quarter Horse Congress is in town at the Fair Grounds.

- Halloween -

4th Annual Spooktacular at The Depot this Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. .  It’s FREE  and on  Old Henderson Road.   The Depot

The Haunted Statehouse Tours start 10-12-2012 and run through  10-20-2012 at the Ohio Statehouse

All Hallow’s Eve at the Ohio History Center/Ohio Village Saturday 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
