When Yoga for Newbies was added to ’365 Things To Do In Columbus Ohio” I was not sure if it was spam.   I can easily feel spammed by comments and emails.  The more stressed I am the easier an email or comment can feel like spam to me.    The thumbnail is a “Go Daddy” avatar… I guess the   Yoga In You website is on a Go-Daddy blog…

“365 Things To Do in Columbus Ohio’  is a page I started on Facebook and I want people to add things.    Thanks to Diana Pearson of Yoga In You for adding Yoga for Newbies at  Yoga In You to ’365 Things To Do in Columbus Ohio’

After thinking…  I determined it is not spam.

May  I tell you to me when I started the ’365 Things To Do In Columbus’  I was not thinking I had to add something every day…  Personally I did not really care if it took 3 years to gather ’365 Things To Do In Columbus Ohio.’  I think I’d posted one or two before I wondered if by starting the page I was making a commitment.   I think I have not missed a day but after a Facebook webinar where a real estate social media guru voiced her grave concerns with Dale Chumbley’s  ’365 Things To Do in Vancouver WA’… and whether others should tackle it …. because she must be in charge of what others in the real estate industry take on….  I don’t believe I was  aware of Dale’s page initially.  I saw someone do a ’365 Things To Do….”  page in Austin Texas.  I think I was aware of the page in Missoula MT where the people who started the page forgot about it and came back and it was going strong.    My page does use my blog to tie into the ’365 Things To Do in Columbus Ohio’  like Dales, since another social media guru tweeted something about Dales page.  If my RSS was not broken I’d just be writing here and letting it populate to the  Facebook  page… that was what I wanted to do first.  I am kinda glad my RSS is broken.     Does my muse in Austin use a blog too?  No idea.  It doesn’t matter to me.

I never promised “One a Day” or a years worth…  I gotta stop listening to social media gurus.   National or local.  … Let me get my serenity back…  let get into the lotus position…  let me chant…. “ohm”   until the stress of Facebook and the real estate social media gurus passes.  Can you tell I don’t do yoga?   I probably should.

I got spammed on a Columbus real estate blog by a Maricopa County (that’s in AZ) contractor.  Links and pictures promoting his services.  Not a local business.   Yesterday I got a fat bride special from a local personal trainer via email.  The marketing director is also a licensed personal trainer.  The  email was really nasty, but who am I to dis a marketing director… I just get so stressed by spam.

Yoga In You is on Columbus west-side?   On Broad Street.  Contact info and schedule is on the link in the first paragraph here.  Thanks Diana for posting it to ’365 Things To Do In Columbus’ on Facebook.

I can not get my foot on top of my other leg…  deep breaths, deep breaths…

Phew! I think I got stressed out reading that! :P

Don’t get all bent about spammers. Lots of us are actually just nice people stuck in an office creating links to make a living.

I still like to read the blogs I comment on. It makes this job fun, and every now and then I get to talk to some interesting people.

By the way, I own the rights to the phrase “365 things to do in Columbus”. I’m going to have to ask you to change yours to 366.

I thought you thought you were leaving a clever comment.

So I said ” USPTO or Ohio Trademark registration?”
