Columbus West Virginia

Happy Columbus Day!

Buck, one of my favorite Columbus home sellers even if I’ve never met him says:

” unfortunately, I have spent the last twenty years in Columbus, the Capitol of West Virginia”

Me?  I’ve lived in Columbus the capitol of Ohio for almost twenty years.  I  do not need to use an “unfortunately” at the beginning of the sentence…  nor was I aware until reading Buck’s rant that there was Columbus, West Virginia.

I know there’s a Columbus in Georgia, one in Mississippi, one in Nebraska…. but I never knew there was a Columbus West Virginia.

Of course there’s not… Buck’s whole sentence says”

“I have traveled and lived in may (many? )states, however, unfortunately, I have spent the last twenty years in Columbus, the Capitol of West Virginia, which is located in central Ohio.”

Slamming Columbus?

Slamming West Virginia?

Buck’s one of my favorite Columbus sellers because his whole comment on Trulia.com was so entertaining.  It’s probably less entertaining if you are from West Virginia originally  or are in West Virginia… wonder where Buck is headed when he sells his home in Columbus?  I’d bet Buck’s not headed to West Virginia.  Want to read Buck’s rant on a question on Trulia.com ???

Why do people call Columbus a Cow-Town?

Happy Columbus Day to all cities named Columbus
