Columbus Projects – Stimulus Watch

Columbus Projects on Stimulus Watch

From the $1 Million dollars for “Emerald Parkway/Sterling Commerce improvements” to $200,000,000 for the “North Corridor Light Rail System” Stimulus Watch is a place to see what is proposed.

“Below are the “shovel-ready” projects for which this city has requested federal stimulus funding. You can click on a project to read (and add to) its description. You can also discuss the project and vote on whether you believe it is critical or not.”

Vote on whether you think it is critical? Polls. I like polls.

Why do so many not have how many jobs they will create? I see more 0′s in Columbus than other Ohio cities.

You can look at other areas in Ohio too and across the country. I am confused no projects for Cleveland? Lots for Akron, Dayton, Toledo, Youngstown.

Thanks to @jodyNcolumbus for the heads up on Stimulus Watch. Jody Dzuranin is a Columbus health and technology blogger.

Speaking of health… here’s a funny Stimulus Video to watch. If ED ads on TV make you uncomfortable you may want to not watch the video.

Wondering if this will just attract more of the usual in my SPAM Filter here… Thanks to Melina Tomson a real estate agent in Oregon with a sense of humor for sharing the video.
