Nope not ducks. Kids playing in the Olentangy River. I am in Worthington taking the picture. They are in Antrim Park across the river or were until they waded into the river. Last time I saw geese… No ducks. Unusual to see people here.

Design On a Dime

Frank Fontana the host of ‘Design on a Dime’ on HGTV will be at the 2010 BIA Parade of Homes at Ackerly Park in New Albany on Sunday.

2010 BIA Parade of Homes in Central Ohio.

Fontana will be present from 11am until 2:30 pm at the pavillion stage . This is one of ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’

Ostrander Ohio the 4th of July party goes on today… July 5th.

Too late for the parade… but concessions, rides, games.

According to the official Columbus Dispatch article about the 2010 July 4th Celebrations events:

“10 a.m.: Parade begins on Main Street followed by concessions, rides and games on the lawn of Buckeye Valley West Elementary.”

I don’t see anything about fireworks in Ostrander in the list on the Columbus Dispatch site… July 4th Celebrations 2010 but WikiAnswers has a question from someone about when the Ostrander Ohio fireworks are.

Ostrander Ohio is going to be a # on both’365 Things to Do In Columbus Ohio’ and ’365 Places to Live in Columbus.’

Where is Ostrander Ohio? Southern Delaware County. It’s in the Buckeye Valley schools… it is a little village. There are a lot of newer homes in Ostrander. One of my favorite builders was very, very active out there. Ostrander homes for sale * Ostrander is a little village in the country. I am not sure a lot of the new construction is in the village…. I assume it is in the township and has an Ostrander mailing address.

I met the Mayor of Ostrander once… years ago. The real mayor, not someone with a Foursquare Badge. I am not sure if he is still the mayor of Ostrander.

Check the Columbus Dispatch list… it looks like there may be one local community doing fireworks tonight if you really, really need a fireworks fix…

Ozem Gardner Way, Westerville 43081 – a street in the Seven Oaks subdivision

Golf Village, Powell Ohio 43065 – a large development in the City of Powell

Deercreek, Columbus Ohio 43085 a small development in the City of Columbus and the Worthington City School District

Village at Polaris Park, Columbus Ohio 43240 – a small development of free standing condos in the City of Columbus, and the Olentangy Local School District

Tartan Ridge, Dublin Ohio 43017 – I believe last years Parade of Homes neighborhood was right over the line in Union County. I am pretty sure that area is mostly unincorporated. It is in the Dublin City School District.

Olentangy Highbluffs, Columbus Ohio 43235 – A small development in the Worthington school. The neighborhoods is in the City of Columbus.

There is a Facebook page called ’365 Places to Live in Columbus.’ “Fans” can add places to live. Want to tell people about where you live? “Like” the page and tell about your Central Ohio neighborhood, street, subdivision, city, etc.

I moved ’365 Places to Live in Columbus’ back to Discover Columbus OH – Columbus real estate because I already have posts about communities there. I started the ’365 Places to Live in Columbus’ Facebook page to go with Discover Columbus OH but then there were technical difficulties. Bad timing!
