Congratulations to the Sellsius° Real Estate Blog’s Top 12 Women Real Estate Bloggers – 2007 Edition  or the Real Estate Blog Calendar Girl’s ( I believe the calendar’s  a joke but with the Sellsius° Guys who really knows…)

Calendar Girls – the movie’s tagline is  “Some ladies will do anything for a good cause.”

Some Columbus bloggers ( not just real estate bloggers) met Joe and Rudy the members of Sellsius° Real Estate Blog  last summer when they visited Central Ohio on Blog Tour USA.

Without further ado the 2007 honoree’s:

Teresa Boardman- St. Paul MN.  (Teresa was also recently named one of the  25 Most Influential Real Estate Bloggers: 2007 by Inman News.)

Maureen Francis – Birmingham MI. (Metro Detroit area)

Roberta Murphy – San Diego CA.

Kristal Kraft- Denver CO.

Laurie Manny – Long Beach CA.

Ines Hegedus-Garcia – Miami FL.

Frances Flynn Thorsen – Tucson AZ.?  (I believe Frances made a cross country move recently.  Frances is  my fairy blogmother… mine and most of real estate bloggers across the US…  fairy blogmother.  Frances is also the editor in chief of RealTown. )

Kris Berg – San Diego CA.

Diane Cohn – Reno NV.

Missy Caulk – Ann Arbor MI.

Rhonda Porter – Seattle WA.

Sharon Simms  - St. Petersburg FL.

Congratulations ladies!

OK while I am at it… Sellsius° Real Estate Blog who awarded the 2007 Top Twelve Women Real Estate Bloggers is on the Inman News 25 Most Influential Real Estate Bloggers :2007  list too…  Congratulations.

I heard about the 2007 list of the best women real estate bloggers  first on ActiveRain via an entry by Colleen Kulikowski  Thanks Colleen.    And thanks for mentioning the “has beens” The Top Ten Women Real Estate Bloggers of 2006 , Colleen.

Blog Tour USA in Central Ohio- the live blog on ActiveRain.

If  am not mistaken in 2006 Sellsius°  had not personally met any of the 10 women.   2007  Joe and Rudy met all 12 of the women.

There were just not the same channels in place in 2006 for networking that there are now. It was just dumb luck to have caught their eye on my part. They had lots to choose from this year, no wonder it came out months later.

I think it is neat that they have met all of you.

Yes, we were fortunate to get out there and meet the ladies. (we even slept over at Sharon Simms). All are wonderful people and a credit to the industry.

P.S. So that the record is clear, there are no “has beens”. The Top 10 in our inaugural list, of which you were well deservedly one, are still great bloggers. The idea is to include a new group every year to bring them some public attention. We want to share the blog love with as many women as possible :)

I think that’s a great idea Joe I was just joking about the “has beens.”
I think getting identifying as many great women bloggers as possible identified… and tattoed with Sellsius is a good thing.

tatoo? what? You mean the other 9 did not go through with the Sellsius tattoo?

You were in my spam for some reason. I think you’ve been there before.

It was you who invited me into the world of blogging.

Thank you.

I invited some great bloggers to ActiveRain, some like Maureen Francis and Frances who were already blogging and some like you who had not yet blogged.

You can tell you are a writer. You are in another league, you Frances and a couple of others…. It makes for richer reading because of all the differences.

Thanks for accepting the invitation to AR. I have three people I invited to AR on the list of 2007 real estate calendar girls. I never thought of that b4.

Maureen, did you get your tattoo last year? ;)

We all did. Didn’t we all? Of course I have never met Bonnie, Marlow, Christine, Maggie, Fran, etc. or seen their backs. ;-)

Congratulations on being one of the 2007 RE Calendar Girls Rhonda.
