Tom Arbour, a blogger from central Ohio is featured  today on a national nature blog site. Tom Arbour was interviewed by Nature Blog Network  for  Featured Blog: Ohio Nature Blog

Ohio Nature Blog on Toplist on Nature Blog Network

Tom’s Ohio Nature Blog has such great photos and  I always learn something when I read it.  Ohio Nature Blog is on the  blog roll here on

Here’s just a snippet from the interview the Nature Blog Network published today:

“‘I’ve been interested in nature as long as can I remember.  I have a BA from Hiram College (that’s where  came from) with a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio).  I’ve been working as a full time professional ecologist since 2003. I help keep track of Ohio’s rare plants and animals by doing field work and using Global Positioning Systems and Geographic Information Systems.  I’m lucky to have found a full time, paying job that supports our family and lets me study natural history.  Obviously, I can’t get enough nature, because I do the blog thing in my spare time.”

I always wondered what Tom’s real job was.

The Nature Blog Network is a blog but it is also has a “Toplist”  of nature blogs, over 1000 blogs are on their  “Toplist.”  It’s broken down by types of  nature blogs too.

#68  is the blogs rank  among the Natural History blogs on the “Toplist”  I believe.

Today it is 22nd?  It is a well deserved feature.
